Bushfire Planning and Design

St Quentin’s Bushfire Management team are Bushfire Planning and Design (BPAD) Level 2 Accredited Practitioners. These credentials allow the team to provide a bushfire risk management assessment on any properties within Victoria. These assessments undergo a comprehensive risk evaluation of the site and surrounds and recommend treatments to reduce the threat of bushfire.

  • Bushfire Management Statements reports for planning permit applications

    A Bushfire Management Statement (BMS) is an assessment which details how a certain proposal responds to bushfire hazard in the area. Typically required to inform planning permit application, we have prepared a arrange of BMS assessments to support a variety of land use and development outcomes.

  • Bushfire Attack Level (BAL) assessments

    A Bushfire Attack Level or BAL is an assessment under the Australian Standard 3959-2009 Construction of Buildings in Bushfire Prone Areas (BPA’s). It is a useful tool in most assessments of bushfire risk.

  • Bushfire Risk Assessments

    A Bushfire Risk Assessment is an assessment, using a range of inputs, to provide a higher strategic review of bushfire risk, as it applies to strategic planning processes. We have prepared a number of these assessments, typically to inform Planning Scheme Amendments, or rezoning of land.
